My interview with Niko "Slash"

I recently had the honour and great pleasure in interviewing Niko. He’s something of a guitar YouTube pioneer, starting his channel in 2011 and focusing on covers and lessons of Slash songs.

Over time, this created the opportunity to connect with Slash directly — and that’s where things get really incredible.

Last year, I published an interview with Todd Puma — the man with a Les Paul collection in excess of 300, and who had also been in guitar magazines because he had traded with Slash.

And it was Niko who helped to facilitate those trades.

He’s even helped to broker Slash buying an original 1960 Burst.

In our interview, he was playing a Jessica model, which is the most recent Slash signature model — and this one was sent to him from Slash himself.
